Yesterday, I watched an episode of 'Educating Yorkshire'. It was all about a year 11 boy with a stammer and the effects it had on his life. Watching it reminded me exactly why I want to become a Speech and Language Therapist. Seeing the boy do a talk in front of his entire year, pass his English GCSE (which involves a 20% oral contribution) and leave his time at school smiling! Little reminders of the end goal is definitely encouraging and motivating when there seems to be endless tasks to get through! Reason no. 26 :)
