'David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.'
1 Samuel 30:6
In the midst of difficult situations David reconnected with God and was strengthened to a place where he could move forward. How did he strengthen himself? With praise and prayer. David focused his attention on the promises of God not on his problem. David enquired of God and asked for His direction. David knew that he needed a strategy from God to reach a place of victory over his problem.
