This week God reminded me of the importance of taking 'every thought captive'. When I get tired and stressed with work, it's so easy to get caught up in lies that: 'I won't get my work done on time', 'I can't do it', 'I can't give my best as there's too much too' etc etc etc....but NO! All of the above aren't true: 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' (Philippians 4:13) and I can be at peace in the chaos of deadline: 'the Lord gives strength to his people and the Lord blesses His people with peace' (Psalm 30:11). Reason no. 796 :)
