Thank you God that I am a part of a university that loves carrying out research and that means I can get paid to do little studies and learn at the same time! Reason no. 828 :)

Thank you God for sustaining me, thank you for putting breath in my lungs, thank you for waking me up each morning and giving me strength for each day. Reason no. 826 :)

'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.' Mark 10:14

I love how much value God places on children and how He has so much more for them than I imagine.This morning I read the introduction of a book and was just amazed at how much God has for them. 'He has not given them a Junior Holy Ghost' - children have the same Spirit in them so there is no reason for them not to be hearing God speak to them, healing the sick, seeing the Gospel taken to the nations.

How much of what I say and do is rooted in Christian culture around me rather than the authentic culture of Christ's kingdom? (Jennifer Toledo) 

If Christian culture was replaced by the culture of Christ's kingdom a shift would happen that takes the limitations off and releases the power of God in a way that will see nations transformed as we allow God to have greater control and a faith that expects our expectations to be exceeded 10 fold, 100 fold, 1000 fold. 

God will You show me where I have limited myself to Christian culture and will You break it down so that a new culture can be built.

4 months off for summer - so much opportunity, one that might not come around again!! I woke up this morning being reminded of promises God had spoken a few years back and how this season of rest can be a time to pick up things I'd let go of in the busyness of studying! Reason no. 823 :)
