Back in Manchester! I'm all moved in to my new home for the next year :) We had a safe journey and managed to buy in lots of food for me! Looking forward to what lies ahead this year. Reason no. 345 :)

Reason no. 343...

Yesterday I found out my placement for the year. It's just made my uni course a lot more real. For a month I'll be working with a speech and language therapist. Speech therapists work with a range of people from young to old, people with stutters to mental health issues to having had a stroke. This year I will mainly be with young children. It's not the nearest placement one could be placed on. I'll be travelling around 2 hours there and 2 hours back each day - that's a lot of travelling! Slightly nervous, but excited too! Just got to trust God with it all. After all, He is for me not against me and He'll be with me in the travelling and on placement. Reason no. 343 :)

I've just started reading a book called: 'Elizabeth is missing'. It's all about a lady developing dementia. It's really good so far and I'm actually learning stuff linked to my course at the same time. Reason no. 342 :)

God stands through the ages, going from one generation to another. He never changes. He's the same God of Noah and Abraham as to Mary and Paul. He's the same God today.

He is a father who blesses. Blessing is taking something that's yours and bestowing it on someone else. He pours out blessings in abundance. He is not a stingy God.  He is not a God witholds goodness from us. He gives and He gives and He gives....again and again and again. Reason no. 340 :)

This summer I've been filling up an old art book with colour. Each double page is full of a different set of colours, patterns, paints, collages etc. Having the time to be creative has been amazing this summer. Plus, I love how this world is full of different colours and how they all come together. Reason no. 339 :)
