Thankful for the funny little things children say! My favourite is definitely when I asked a child what a sheep was: 'when you take it's wool off it becomes a pig and someone like God has one'. Reason no. 1452 :)

Thankful for Your faithfulness and goodness. I thank you that You stand with me in the good and bad times. I thank you that You are the God who watches over me and taking delight in me! You are so good! Reason no. 1451 :)

Newday: a week of camping, having to trek to the toilet in the middle of the night, having to queue for a shower, being squished in a tent with 7000 young people and their smelly feet! The thought of all that fills me with dread! But it is good that Newday is so much more than just that! This is my 11th year and each year amazing things happen! It is a week where people encounter the living God, where people have been physically and emotionally restored, where faith rises and people begin to dream big with the God who can do the impossible. This year is no exception: there is so much more to come because His generosity does not run out! Reason no. 1450 :)

Thankful for rain after a long time of heat. Thankful for sleeping through the night after days of waking up at 3am due to being too hot. Reason no. 1449 :)

Thankful that I get to spend next week working with 3-4 year olds at Newday. I love thinking that these are the future teachers, lawyers, doctors, inventors, writers, police of our society. They are the future world changers and history shapers. They are the ones who will go further than the generations before them. Reason no. 1448 :)

Yesterday I woke up with a horrible migraine on my day off. I am so thankful that God healed my head and my vision and allowed me to sleep off the pain then enjoy the rest of the day. He is a caring and loving God. Reason no. 1447 :)

It is less than a week till Newday. It is exciting to think that God is able to do immeasurably more than what we dare to ask or dream of! If we starting asking for salvation, healing and encounters with the living God...then that is only just the beginning of what God will do next week! Reason no. 1446 :)

Thankful for being able to go trampolining this week! It was so much fun. Jumping is definitely an expression of joy! Reason no. 1445 :)

Thank you God for the timings of having been in my job a year and getting a pay rise. I am so thankful that it is at the time when we have more bills to pay. Your timing is good and You meet all our needs. Reason no. 1436 :)
